Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze the monograph, which is devoted to the history of the agrarian issue from the point of view of its impact on the Ukrainian peasantry from the time of Kyivan Rus to the present day. Special attention is paid to the issues of new foundations in land relations in the days of Ukraine's independence, legal regulation of ways to acquire land ownership, global problems and trends in the use of land resources at the current stage in Ukraine and the world. On the basis of a wide range of published and unpublished sources, professional publications, for the first time in Ukrainian historiography, the problem of land plots in the village is comprehensively covered.
